Jedes Jahr, zum Beginn der dunklen Jahreszeit findet der kleine Weihnachtsmarkt in Bargfeld-Stegen statt. Er zeichnet sich besonders durch sein gemütliches Ambiente und den nicht gewerblich, sondern privat als Hobby präsentierten Ausstellern aus. Leckere Kuchen, Torten, Würstchen, Waffeln, Suppen sind so ausgewählt, dass Nachhaltigkeit und Umweltbewusstsein eine maßgebliche Rolle spielen. Und oft hören wir, dass die Leckereien besonders lecker schmecken. Zur Unterhaltung singen und spielen die aktiven Chöre und Orchester aus der Gemeinde.
